Guide
How it works
Find the card, buy the page, print it at 100% and cut along the guides. Four steps from one card to a full nine-pocket binder page.
From finding your card to closing the binder takes four steps and about twenty minutes, most of it waiting for ink to dry. Here is each one, with the small things that make the difference between a page that looks printed and a page that looks painted.
-
Find your card
Browse by set, or search for the card by name. Every page in the shop is finished: on its product page you see it laid into a binder with the card in its pocket, and you can switch to the full print sheet. What you see is what you get.
If your card is not there yet, request it and we will email you when its page is ready.
-
Buy the page
One file, EUR 4.99, for a nine-pocket A4 page with the card in the centre pocket. The download is in your order confirmation the moment payment clears, and in your account under Orders and downloads. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and a one-time code; there is no password to remember.
-
Print at 100%
Print the PDF double-sided on A4, at 100% or "actual size", with every fit-to-page option off, flipped on the long edge, on matte or satin photo paper: the art lands on the front and the cutting guide on the back. The printing guide shows the settings for every system.
-
Cut and slide in
Cut along the guide lines with a ruler and a sharp knife: nine pieces, each exactly card-sized. Slide eight of them into the pockets around your card, art side out. The centre pocket is for the card. Close the binder on a page that is finally the size of the picture.
Tips for a better page
- Check the page in the binder view. Every product page shows the sheet cut into pockets around the card. That is the page you get.
- Print a test strip first. Print the page on plain paper, cut one piece, and check it against a real card before you commit photo paper.
- Cut from the back. The second page of the file is the cutting guide, printed on the reverse of the sheet, so you cut along its lines with no marks on the art.
- Let the print dry. Ten minutes before the knife comes out. Fresh photo prints smudge along a cut.
- Plan facing pages. Pages from the same set share a palette, and the picks group cards that sit well together on a spread.
